Types of Hand Sanitisers
There are two main types of hand sanitisers – Alcohol and Non-Alcohol Sanitisers.
Alcohol hand sanitiser with at least 60% alcohol effectively kill germs, bacteria and viruses. However, hand sanitisers with alcohol may not be suitable for those with sensitive skins, as prolong usage can cause skin dryness.
On the other hand, Alcohol-free hand sanitiser such as Zencare is gentle to skin, suitable for delicate skin, including pets, and pose no skin irritation. The product relies on bio active ingredients that naturally break down microbes and bacteria.
Regardless of the ingredients they contain, hand sanitisers are effective against the spread of infection. Sanitisers should be used in areas and occasions when hand washing is not possible.
A hand sanitiser dispenser can be installed near lifts (even inside lifts), reception lobbies, rooms, over the counters, and in any location classified as “high touch” points, such as washrooms, handles, switches.
